Service Eligibility - Ineligible Serial Numbers
Service Eligibility
Some serial numbers are not eligible for service. This page explains why, and how to verify a unit before you buy or send it in.
Subtonic maintains a list of serial numbers that are not eligible for any service — including paid repair, replacement, warranty coverage, and authentication.
This page exists to protect the integrity of our warranty program and to help buyers, dealers, and owners verify a unit's status before money changes hands. Ineligibility is permanent and non-transferable.
Warranty Card Requirement
To qualify for any repair or service, the original warranty card must be included in the same return package as the unit. Subtonic reserves the right to refuse repair of any unit not accompanied by its warranty card.
Why a STORM unit becomes ineligible
-
Reported stolen or obtained through theft
-
Fraudulent purchase — including chargebacks and payment fraud
-
Counterfeit or tampered units bearing forged or altered serials
- Warranty card lost, with the unit's serial number subsequently reassigned to a replacement
